Job Summary: The Laborer will work with members of the construction team to ensure smooth operations of daily paving on every assigned project. Performs a wide variety of tasks associated with the laying down of asphalt. Essential Functions:

• Committed to serve. Assist in the preparation of surfaces for paving, including clearing debris, grading, and compacting.
• Operate hand and power tools such as shovels, rakes, tampers, and compactors to perform various tasks.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks.
• Focused. Assist in the setup and operation of paving equipment, including pavers, rollers, and skid steers.
• Protect family and friends. Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Safety always wins. Follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Respect and engage. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas. Requirements, Education and Experience:1. Previous experience in construction or paving preferred but not required.2. Strong work ethic and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekend and overtime. 3. Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.4. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.5. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from job sites.6. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.7. This position works outdoors in most types of weather including high heat, and inclement weather. This position works near moving mechanical parts and loud equipment. This position requires the ability to stand for long periods of time as well as bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, walking, sitting, reaching, driving, and repetitive motion.
