Good Shepherd Hospice is a member of Catholic Health Services of
Long Island and an integral part of the health care ministry of the
Diocese of Rockville Centre. Our organization promotes the

Our team of professionals, caregivers and trained volunteers are
dedicated to providing both medical and emotional support to
patients and families. We currently employ more than 200 staff
members and have a volunteer core of over 100 dedicated people.

As the first impression of Good Shepherd, the Customer Service
Representative is responsible for providing a welcoming, helpful
and professional attitude to guests and callers. Additional
responsibilities include answering the telephone promptly and
efficiently, prioritizing calls and escalating client issues as
appropriate, providing exemplary customer service to all external
and internal clients and demonstrating a commitment to our
patients, caregivers and clinical team members.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service and
communication skills, knowledge of medical terminology and good
computer/data entry skills.
Associates degree, Bachelors preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office, typing and data entry
Minimum two years office experience, preferably in a health care
