Job Description:
Interstate Waste Services, a leader in non-hazardous waste
management in the U.S. Northeast, is seeking a dedicated Waste
Collection Roll-Off Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role,
you will be essential in helping us serve communities by safely
transporting waste to designated facilities. You will operate a
roll-off truck to manage container delivery and waste collection,
ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines.
Safely operate roll-off trucks and equipment to handle waste
collection and transport duties. Perform daily pre- and post-trip
inspections on vehicles to ensure optimal operation. Coordinate
with dispatch for assignments and route guidance, maintaining
timely service. Navigate various routes throughout the region,
adjusting to dynamic driving conditions and schedules. Deliver and
collect containers from residential, commercial, and industrial
sites, managing waste material securely. Adhere to all safety
standards and local vehicular regulations while driving and
operating equipment. Communicate effectively with customers and
team members to ensure high quality service. Maintain and submit
accurate records of operations, including distances driven and
waste volumes collected. Proficient in operating roll-off and other
heavy-duty trucks. Strong knowledge of local roads and routes.
Ability to adhere to and understand safety policies and
regulations. Effective communication skills for interacting with
dispatch and customers. Basic mechanical knowledge to conduct
vehicle inspections and identify maintenance needs. Medical
