  What will the System Administrator do?
  
  • Provide Tier 2 technical assistance and support for incoming service requests and help desk emails, ensuring timely responses
    
  • Identify and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly, escalating to senior administrators or vendors when necessary
    
  • Perform daily user management within Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
    
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, network devices, and related hardware and software
    
  • Train or direct users on correctly using software and hardware within the environment
    
  • Monitor and administer backup and recovery solutions
    What the company needs in a System Administrator:
    
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
      
    • Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation and task automation
      
    • One or more of the following certifications: COMPTIA+, Server+, Network+, or CCNA
      
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
      
    • Experience supporting a virtual environment such as VMWare/Windows Server etc.
