The Opportunity

Capitol Smiles in Schenectady needs locums coverage starting in February, with the opportunity to extend ongoing until a permanent provider is hired. This is a full time Monday Thursday job with a supportive clinic environment and fast credentialing.

Location: Schenectady, NY
Start Date: March 9, 2026
Duration: Through May 28, 2026
Schedule: Monday and Wednesday 9-5, Tuesday and Thursday 9-3
Setting: Dental Clinic / Outpatient

• Provide patient care in an outpatient dental clinic setting
• Perform general dentistry procedures including exams, restorative dentistry, extractions, and basic treatment planning
• Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and office staff to support efficient patient flow
• Support continuity of care and documentation standards
• Optional duties as applicable

• DDS or DMD from an accredited program
• Active NY dental license (or ability to obtain with licensing support)
• BLS (preferred)
• General dentistry experience in a clinical setting
• Clean NPDB preferred
