Description Atlantic Health is seeking a skilled and
compassionate, fully licensed Speech Pathologist (CCC-SLP) to join
our award-winning acute-care team at Chilton Medical Center. This
position is for weekends and holidays only - for a minimum of four

About the Team Atlantic Rehabilitation offers comprehensive
inpatient and outpatient services, including physical therapy,
occupational therapy, speech therapy, audiology, wound care
management and more. All of which are provided by a highly trained
staff comprised of physiatrists; internists; physician assistants;
nurse practitioners; rehabilitation nurses; physical, occupational,
and recreational therapists; speech-language pathologists; social
workers; psychologists; vocational rehabilitation counselors;
dieticians; audiologists; and care managers. What Your Day Might
Look Like Responsible for providing a full range of speech
pathology services including assessment, treatment planning and
therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment
consistent with the position's qualifications, professional
practices and ethical standards. The incumbent shall also
demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program
development, quality improvement, problem-solving and productivity
enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion. More
specifically: 1. Evaluating and diagnosing speech and language
skills as related to educational, medical, social, and
psychological factors. 2. Planning, directing, or conducting
rehabilitative treatment programs to restore communicative
efficiency of individuals with communication problems of organic
and nonorganic etiology. 3. Providing counseling and guidance and
language development therapy to disabled individuals. 4. Reviewing
individual file to obtain background information prior to
evaluation to determine appropriate tests and to ensure that
adequate information is available. 5. Developing and implementing
individualized plans for assigned clients to meet individual needs,
interests, and abilities. 6. Evaluating and monitoring individuals,
using audiovisual equipment. Reviews treatment plans and assesses
individual performance to modify, change, or write new programs. 7.
Maintaining records as required by law, establishment's policy, and
administrative regulations. 8. Attending meetings and conferences
and participates in other activities to promote professional
growth. 9. Performing other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications Qualifications Evidence of graduation from an
accredited college or university in Speech Language Pathology.
Current NJ CCC-SLP license. 3-5 years of acute care experience is
preferred
