Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system, is seeking a
dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse II for our Adult Emergency
Department. This role is critical in providing high-quality,
compassionate emergency care to adult patients during the night
shift. The ideal candidate is a motivated and resilient individual
with extensive experience in emergency nursing, possessing strong
clinical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced
environment. Join us in our mission to deliver exceptional medical
education, conduct groundbreaking biomedical research, and provide
superior patient care. Provide immediate medical care and clinical
support to patients in the emergency unit. Assess, triage, and
treat patients rapidly based on symptoms and test results. Manage
all nursing care for patients in the emergency department.
Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to
develop treatment plans. Monitor patient recovery and adjust
treatment plans as necessary. Maintain patient records and document
all medical information accordingly. Educate patients and their
families on disease prevention and health restoration. Proficiency
in all aspects of emergency medical care. Ability to function
effectively under pressure. Excellent communication, interpersonal
and leadership abilities. Strong problem-solving and
decision-making skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of practice. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
