Job Description:
Albany Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled
RN-Ambulatory in the specialty of Neurosurgery to join our
innovative healthcare system, renowned for excellence in medical
education, research, and patient care. This role requires a
compassionate individual who can efficiently coordinate and deliver
high-quality nursing care for neurosurgical patients in an
outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will possess a deep
understanding of neurosurgical procedures and patient management,
ensuring the effectiveness of patient treatments and recovery
programs through collaborative efforts with neurosurgeons and
healthcare professionals. Assess, plan, and implement nursing care
plans for neurosurgery patients in an outpatient setting.
Collaborate with neurosurgeons and other healthcare professionals
to optimize patient treatment and recovery. Educate patients and
their families on surgical procedures, post-operative care, and
lifestyle modifications. Monitor patient health and respond to
their needs promptly to ensure recovery and minimize complications.
Maintain timely and accurate patient records in compliance with
