Job Description:
Albany Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled
Clinical Nurse II for our M5 unit, who will uphold our mission to
improve health by integrating excellent patient care, education,
and research. As part of our team, you'll work in an innovative

the latest advancements in medical technology. This role requires a
compassionate individual committed to providing exceptional care
and continuous nursing surveillance to patients in a dynamic
healthcare setting. Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients
in accordance to unit-specific protocols. Monitor patient
conditions continuously and respond with appropriate interventions.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Educate patients and families on health conditions and
post-treatment care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare
teams to optimize patient care. Document patient care services
accurately in patient and department records. Participate in
professional development and research activities for continuous
improvement of nursing practices. Strong clinical skills relevant
to acute care nursing Proficiency in using electronic health record
systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to
make decisions in high-pressure situations Demonstrates thorough
knowledge of nursing procedures and standards Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current
registered nurse licensure in the state of practice Basic Life
Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
certification preferred
