Job Description Job Description /n Supervises and coordinates the imaging operations and technologists and their daily activities, of X-ray. Ensures assignments are completed and maintains quality patient care. /n Job Responsibility /n /n /n - Promotes Imaging Services department goals by selecting, motivating, and training capable team members. /n - Leads the activities of assigned Imaging Services team members by communicating and providing guidance toward achieving department objectives. /n - Supervises, hires, trains, disciplines, and evaluates the performance of staff; ensures performance appraisals are completed in a timely manner. /n - Prioritizes, schedules, assigns and monitors work to optimize operational performance; ensures adequate inventory of supplies. /n - Organizes and guides staff towards service line/department goals. /n - Analyzes, recommends, implements and monitors approved work-flow changes. /n - Maintains staff credentials and continuing education credits. /n - Follows guidelines set forth by ACR and DOH. Ensures staff adherence to Quality and Infection Control guidelines and equipment maintenance according to state and federal guidelines; also maintains related accreditation, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control standards within modality. /n - Troubleshoots mechanical equipment issues and ensures compliance to manufacturer specifications. /n - Schedule equipment maintenance and repair. /n - Participates in developing and delivering training related to modality. /n - Participates in evaluating and implementing Performance Improvement related practices. /n - Functions as a technologist and responds to emergency calls, as necessary. /n - Performs related duties as required. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions. /n /n Job Qualification /n /n /n - Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology required. /n - Current Radiology Technologist License in New York State required, and current ARRT registration required required, plus specialized certifications as needed. /n - 3-5 years of technical experience and 0-2 years of leadership experience, required. /n /n *Additional Salary Detail /n The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
