Job Opportunity – Operating Room Nurse – New Jersey Start Date: February 17, 2026 Location: Jersey City, New Jersey Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 13-week contract; call required 2x per schedule; weekend coverage required Highlights: Level 2 Trauma Center with comprehensive surgical services including robotic, ENT, orthopedic, vascular, general, thoracic, and neurological procedures Dual role opportunity – must be proficient in both circulating and scrubbing Patient mix includes all OR specialties except open heart surgery EPIC charting system used throughout facility Scrubs provided; first-time travelers welcome Opportunity to work with advanced surgical technologies including robotic systems Requirements: Minimum 2 years of current acute care OR experience required Active New Jersey state license or Compact license required at time of submission BLS certification required; ACLS preferred Required specialty experience: Robotic surgery and ENT Required additional experience: Orthopedic, vascular, general, thoracic, and neurosurgical procedures Must be able to both circulate and scrub – skills checklist and work history required upon submission Trauma Level II experience preferred Must be available to work 2 of 3 holidays during contract period Ability to float within skillset as needed Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced Level 2 Trauma Center with exposure to diverse surgical specialties and cutting-edge technology including robotic systems.
