MRI is looking for highly motivated individuals who would like to
work in a busy Level One Trauma Center where MRI operates 24/7 on 3
GE High Field Scanners. Summary: Performs MRI (Magnetic Resonance
Imaging) exam in the hospital by selecting specific software
parameters according to established protocols in order to assist
the referring physician in diagnosis. Prepares and positions
patients, injects patients with contrast media, and selects
anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce
cross-sectional images of the body. Advanced technical position
that provides clinical expertise and education to the Radiology
department, to ensure that a high quality, cost effective product
or service is delivered in support of the hospital’s strategic
plan, and the functions’ according to the policies, procedures,
philosophy, goals and objectives. This position is mainly 90-100%
clinical and provides oversights for off- shift or off- site.
Subject Matter Expert. Assists with onboarding and training of new
hires. Provides coaching to staff. Qualifications Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiography program (ARRT) or graduate
from American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist
(ARM RIT) with an Associate Degree with focus in medical image
preferably MRI Licensure, Certification, Registration: . ARRT
certification in Radiography OR ARRT MRI or American Registry of
Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) required. Basic
