Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 37 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel We are seeking a skilled and flexible Float Registered Nurse (RN) with strong cardiac experience to join our team in Rhode Island. This role requires the ability to work across Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Units (PCU) during night shifts. Ideal candidates will have experience caring for post-cardiac cath and cardiac patients, and be confident in handling diverse patient populations in a fast-paced hospital setting. /n/n/nKey Responsibilities:/n/n /n/t - /n/t Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care in Med/Surg, Tele, and PCU environments /n/t /n/t - /n/t Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition /n/t /n/t - /n/t Care for post-cardiac cath patients and patients with acute cardiac diagnoses /n/t /n/t - /n/t Administer medications and manage IVs, oxygen, and post-procedure care /n/t /n/t - /n/t Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans /n/t /n/t - /n/t Accurately document assessments and interventions using hospital EMR /n/t /n/t - /n/t Float between assigned units based on staffing needs /n/t /n/t - /n/t Participate in every other weekend rotation /n/t /n /n/n/nRequirements:/n/n /n/t - /n/t Active RN license in Rhode Island or compact state (Required) /n/t /n/t - /n/t Current BLS & ACLS certifications (AHA) – Must be active at time of submission /n/t /n/t - /n/t Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg and Telemetry experience (Required) /n/t /n/t - /n/t Cardiac care experience, including post-cath patients (Required) /n/t /n/t - /n/t Strong clinical assessment, telemetry interpretation, and communication skills /n/t /n/t - /n/t Comfortable working night shifts and adapting to multiple unit types /n/t /n Sable Corporation Job ID 2025-118.
