nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Albany,
New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg /
Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel WCS Healthcare is
currently seeking a Medical Surgical Nurse a for a 13-week contract
assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Albany, NY. The weekly pay
for this position is $2,300 a week. Job Function: /n - Day Shift or
Night Shift. /n - 3x12 EOW. /n - Prepares and administers (orally,
subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications.
/n - Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in
accordance with the policy regarding the administration of
medications by a licensed registered nurse. /n - Educates patients
on surgical procedures ƒ Records patients’ medical information and
vital signs. /n - Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used
on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays. /n /n
Job Requirements: /n - Graduate from an accredited School of
Nursing or bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). /n - Current New
York State RN license (or willingness to obtain). /n - 1-2 years of
acute care experience in this specialty. /n - BLS certification
