Directs, plans, and coordinates the service activities and staffing performance of professional nursing and agency nursing personnel in rendering quality patient care. Provides, coordinates, and directs patient care. Responsibilities include:Provides direct and indirect skilled nursing care to patientsImplementation and management of physician orders related to nursingSelects, trains develop and motivates a highly skilled professional and allied staff.Assures that departmental staff complete orientation, maintain clinical competence, performs supervisory visits, participate in continuing education, received counseling and are evaluated in a timely manner.Assure that patient verification, assessment, teaching and the ongoing scheduling of nursing services occurs in a timely and appropriate manner.Assures that all patient related documentation is accurately completed, submitted and/or filed in a timely manner, according to internal and external regulatory requirements and in support of the billing process.Participates in planning, decision-making and implementation of all service center activities that affect clinical nursing services and the performance of the multi-disciplinary team.Secures and maintains all applicable professional certifications, accreditations and employment requirements as required of the nursing staff and department.Coordination of patient care in conjunction with nurse scheduler and or clinical coordinatorAssures all nursing documentation is accounted for and billed in a timely mannerPromotes efficiency and productivity of nursing dept in conjunction with nurse managerWorks closely with the Nurse Manager and Operations Manager to assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate clinical and administrative policies, procedures, programs and systems.Assures own professional growth and clinical competence.Adheres to all policies, procedures and standards of conduct.Reports to the appropriate management any known or suspected violations of policies, procedures, regulations or standards of conduct.Schedule:Must be able to work Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pmMust be able to participate in an on-call rotationMust be licensed in the state of NY as an RNMust be able to provide infusions to patients in their homesMust have a minimum of 1 year Nurse Supervisory experience working directly with an Infusion Company/Specialty Infusion PharmacyRequirements:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN, MSN preferredCurrent RN Licensure by the applicable states Board of Nursing, in good standingAdvanced certification in specialty areas of practice (e.g. CRNI, ONS, IgRN) preferred but not requiredValid state issued drivers license with no significant restrictions on that licenseOn-Call Requirement: This position requires participation in an on-call rotation, nights and weekends included, providing as-needed support outside of regular business hours to address urgent issues and ensure continuous operations.Administrative Oversight: Responsible for providing administrative oversight, including monitoring of workflows, ensuring compliance with policies, and managing resources efficiently to meet organizational objectives.Emergency Availability: Must be available to respond promptly to emergencies, ensuring rapid and effective resolution of issues to minimize impact on operations. Availability during non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the nature of the emergency.Minimum 2 years Nursing practice in a related specialty such as home infusion and or specialty infusion, home health, oncology, nutrition support, IV therapy or critical careMinimum 2 years Pediatric Nursing experience idealClinical expertise in IV therapies with monitoring, skill and knowledge of all types of IV linesMinimum 1 year management experience, proven ability to manage, train and educate staff on new protocols and existing standard operating proceduresAbility to work with all levels of employees in a fast-paced clinical environment and manage multiple complex projectsKnowledge of vascular access devices and infusion therapiesProficiency with MS OfficeAbout Us: Soleo Health is an innovative national provider of complex specialty pharmacy and infusion services, administered in the home or at alternate sites of care.
