Job Description:

*Part-Time - 2 days/week - 4 hours per week*ACDS Pelham is looking for a part-time licensed Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatrics to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team! The SLP is responsible for the remediation of children with a wide range of disabilities/delays. These areas include: expressive and receptive language, pragmatics, articulation, phonology, and fluency. The SLP contributes goals to the Individual Educational Plan (IEP) and will work on these target objectives throughout the school year. The SLP will provide quality individual and group speech and language services in person while working at our center-based program (no traveling required).Key responsibilities of the Speech Language Pathologist / Speech Therapist include: The SLP will provide and direct speech and language therapy services to students as per their IEP mandates. The SLP will develop treatment plans to achieve identified goals. The SLP will adhere to applicable principles and practices of speech and language pathology, ASHA policies/procedures, and state regulations. The SLP will work collaboratively with OTs, PTs, school psychologists and classroom staff as needed to provide positive treatment outcomes. The SLP will work effectively with parents, teaching staff and other professionals directly involved in the care and treatment of the child to develop and monitor IEP services The SLP will complete all necessary paperwork accurately and timely (e.g., daily session notes, quarterly progress reports, annual reviews, etc.).
