Job Description:
Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Hospice for a
travel nursing job in Morristown, New Jersey.Job Description &
Requirements
Must have 2-3 years as RN in home hospice environment
Demonstrates knowledge of hospice regulations and insurance
reimbursement guidelines. Shows evidence of interdisciplinary
communication. Performs HHA supervisions per standards. Ensures
appropriate utilization of services. Follows scheduling process.
Communicates progress toward goals with IDT. Attends and
participates in IDT meetings every 2 weeks. Evaluates the plan of
care and revises as needed. Maintains safe environment for patients
and co-workers. Follows infection control measures and reports
infections. Demonstrates knowledge of pharmacology and safe
medication management. Routinely reconciles medications. Maintains
current medication orders. Attends monthly staff
meeting:Participates in PI meetings and activities/committees as
requested. Accepts other assignments as requested.Assumes
responsibility for case management: Prioritizes schedule to
accommodate patient's needs. Documents case management activities.
Demonstrates knowledge of pharmacology and safe medication
management. Routinely reconciles medications. About Voca
