Registered Nurse Consultant (Monday thru Friday) Location: Bristol, ConnecticutEmployment Type: Full-TimeMinimum Experience: Mid-levelCompensation: $72,000 to $76,000 a year with Annual BonusMonday - Friday 8 am - 5 pmNo Nights, Weekends, or HolidaysNo obligation to be On-Call Become part of a caring team of NursesThis position will be located in our North Region, and will be traveling to select group homes in Farmington, Bristol, Southington, New Britain, Hartford, West Hartford, East Hartford, Berlin, and Newington.The Registered Nurse ( RN ) will be traveling to different group homes (within assigned region) and case managing individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The ( RN ) will be in charge of teaching the staff at these group homes, any vital information pertaining to our individuals we serve. Registered Nurse ( RN ) Responsibilities:Provide oversight, training, and documentation to ensure that program staff implements and adheres to Medical/Nursing guidelines and policies.Develop plans to ensure and advocate that the individual's health care needs are met.Write initial, quarterly, and annual nursing reviews for each individual.Monitor your individual's medical and dental records to ensure that appointments and follow up have occurred as ordered by their healthcare providers.Review documentation to ensure that certified staff follows procedures and regulations for reporting errors in medication administration.
