Payout Schedule: •Day 1: $2,500 •90 Days: $2,500 •6 Months: $2,500 •12 Months: $2,500 (Must be employed and in good standing at each milestone to qualify.) Who We’re Looking For Certified Polestar or EV Technicians (all levels encouraged to apply) Strong diagnostic and electrical repair skills Familiarity with high-voltage safety protocols and EV systems Committed to quality work, efficiency, and getting it right the first time Positive, team-oriented attitude Desire to learn and grow with a fast-moving EV-focused dealership Responsibilities Perform thorough vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs with a focus on electric powertrains Service and maintain braking, steering, suspension, and electrical systems Complete test drives and quality checks to confirm repairs Communicate effectively with service advisors and, when needed, customers Accurately document all work performed in line with Polestar brand standards High Volume = Steady Work Our reputation for premium EV service keeps customers coming back — and bays full. Modern Equipment, EV-Ready Tools Work with cutting-edge diagnostic systems and specialized EV tooling in a clean, professional shop. What We’re Looking For Proven experience as an Automotive Technician (Entry-level and Apprentice candidates welcome) Valid driver’s license Ability to thrive in a modern, fast-paced, team-oriented environment Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills EV or hybrid experience a plus (training available) ASE certification preferred but not required Certified A/B/C-Level Techs, Mobile Technicians, and candidates from crossover industries (diesel, aviation, marine, motorcycle, HVAC, etc.) encouraged to apply Compensation & Benefits $60,000 – $100,000 per year (commensurate with experience) Bi-weekly pay Comprehensive health benefits Paid time off and holidays Ongoing EV training and certification support Career growth opportunities within the Prestige Collection Auto Group About Polestar Short Hills Located in East Hanover, NJ, Polestar Short Hills is part of the Prestige Collection Auto Group, a family of dealerships known for premium brands and exceptional service.
