Job Description Job Description Position Overview: Our client in
Albany, NY is seeking a Payroll & HR Administrator on a
temp-to-hire basis. This role will initially focus on payroll
processing and will expand into broader HR responsibilities over
time. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and
comfortable working in a growing HR/payroll environment. Payroll
Responsibilities: Enter and maintain employee time records for
approximately 100 non-union employees Input time data into VPoint
Convert and import payroll data into ConnectPay Partner with the
payroll provider, who handles backend payroll processing Ensure
payroll accuracy and timely submission Maintain payroll records and
assist with payroll-related inquiries HR Responsibilities: Support
HR policies and procedures in compliance with state and federal
regulations Assist with HR compliance initiatives Support benefits
administration, including insurance and 401(k) plans Maintain
employee records and HR documentation Provide general HR
administrative support as needed Qualifications: Prior payroll
experience required Basic understanding of HR functions and
compliance preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational
skills Comfortable learning new systems and software Ability to
handle confidential information with discretion
