Job Description:
Interstate Waste Services, a leader in non-hazardous waste
management in the U.S. Northeast, is seeking a seasoned Senior
Business Analyst to enhance our strategic planning and business
development initiatives. As a key part of our team, you will
leverage robust analytical methodologies, market insights, and a
deep understanding of the waste management industry to propel our
growth and optimize our operations. This role is pivotal in shaping
strategies that align with our commitment to sustainability and
operational excellence. Conduct comprehensive market analysis to
identify growth opportunities and competitive threats. Develop
financial models and forecasts to support strategic initiatives and
potential investments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
gather data and execute business strategies effectively. Present
actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior
management. Drive the enhancement of business processes to increase
efficiency and reduce costs. Monitor industry trends and regulatory
changes that impact the business. Participate in the due diligence
for potential acquisitions and partnerships. Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills. Advanced proficiency in financial modeling
and statistical analysis. Excellent communication and presentation
skills. Proficient in data analysis software and Excel. Ability to
work collaboratively in a team environment. Knowledge of the waste
management industry regulations and trends. Certified Business
Analysis Professional (CBAP) preferred. Project Management
Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
